I idea the country of origin, and info on Fernandes is fairly sparse with regard to serial numbers and dating. This strategy was certainly intended to prevent an exact count of guitar and bass sales in the case of US trademark lawsuits. Fernandes has almost never used a serial number on his guitars and basses, except on the first models released by the brand or on models manufactured by Tokai in the late 70s.
I would love to know how old my fernandes guitar the serial numbers are on the back of the headstock the numbers are its in great condition and possible range of price.
